Accessibility Statement
Last updated: October 10, 2026
We want everyone to be able to shop at gpen.com, including people with disabilities. This statement explains what we do to make the website accessible, where we still have work to do and how to reach us if something gets in your way.
The standard we work toward
We design and test gpen.com to meet the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.1 at level AA, and we aim for WCAG 2.2 level AA.
What we do
- The website works with a keyboard alone, including the cart and checkout, and you can always see where you are on the page.
- Form fields have labels, and errors are explained in text and announced to screen readers.
- Text and buttons have enough color contrast, and you can zoom to 200% without losing content.
- Images have text alternatives, and decorative images are hidden from screen readers.
- Pages have a clear heading structure and a link to skip to the main content.
- The website works on phones, tablets and computers, in portrait and landscape.
- Pop-ups, such as the age confirmation, can be used with a keyboard and a screen reader.
Known limitations
- Payment and age check: these steps are run by our payment processors and by AgeChecker.Net. If you have trouble with them, contact us and we’ll help you complete your order.
- Older blog articles: some older articles have images without text alternatives. We are adding them.
- Product guides: our step-by-step guides are on our separate help website, help.gpen.com. If you need the information in another format, ask us and we’ll send it to you.
